Water-jet cutting
Abrasive cutting and pure-water technique The advantages of water-jet cutting are evident: no microstructural change, no microcracks, no deformation, no thermal effects and no hardness increase at the cut. The following techniques are used: Pure-water technique: Abrasive
cutting: The CAD-controlled system works in parallel with two cutting heads and drilling aggregates for predrilling sandwich materials. The maximum format that can be machined is 4000mm x 2050mm. Cutting depths of up to 200mm are possible depending on the material. The machining accuracy here is up to +/- 0.1mm This system enables the manufacture of technical parts as well as the creation of mosaics, inlays, emblems, lettering and logos. |
